30-year-old Eric Kyle Howell of Fleetwood, North Carolina has been arrested by Hickory Police on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance. Howell was jailed today (September 14) in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $25,000. An appearance in District Court was scheduled for October 6 in Newton.
