Firefighters Respond To Blaze At SE Hickory Home

Shortly before 8 a.m. Monday (September 5), Hickory firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire located in the area of 144 15th Street SE. Upon arrival just minutes later, they reported heavy amounts of smoke coming from the second floor and attic of the two-story residential building and heavy amounts of smoke inside the house.
