Lenoir-Rhyne’s Sean Finan was named the SAC WePlayed Sports Men’s Golfer of the Week for events played during weeks seven and eight of the 2023-24 season, the Conference office announced.

Finan, a sophomore from Winston-Salem, N.C., took home medalist honors and led the Bears to a team championship at the Lenoir-Rhyne Fall Invitational. Finan fired rounds of 71, 68, and 69 to finish with a 69.3 stroke average for the event, carding a three-round total of 208. He won the tournament by four strokes and his 68 was the best round of any golfer at the tournament.

The bi-monthly award is awarded to the top golfer in the SAC based on their results from the previous two weeks of play.
