31-year-old Johnathan Benjamin Penley of Greenwood Terrace in Lenoir was arrested Monday (December 21) by Lenoir Police Officers. He’s charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule II controlled substance. In addition, Penley is charged with misdemeanor counts of larceny and possession of stolen goods, and failure to appear on multiple counts including possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine.
Bond was set at $61,000 secured. District Court appearances are scheduled for January 11 and February 8 and a Superior Court date is set for March 1.
