MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WHKY) — Friday, September 4th, is the application deadline for FeedNC’s fall Workforce Development program for unemployed and underemployed residents interested in culinary or warehouse careers.

The tuition-free program begins September 14 and continues for 10 weeks. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Participants receive 150 hours of hands-on training, 50 hours of life-skills instruction, industry certifications, work experience and job-placement help. The program also offers as much as $1,000 in student incentives.
