The Alexander County Public Works/Facilities Department will hold a “Shred Day” on Saturday, May 7. The event will run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Alexander County Administration Building at 621 Liledoun Road.
This is an opportunity for citizens of Alexander County to securely dispose of papers that contain personal information in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner. This event could help citizens avoid identity theft, which can put your credit, finances, and reputation at stake.
There is a limit of five boxes per person. This “Shred Day” is available for Alexander County residents only. If you have questions about “Shred Day,” contact the Public Works/Facilities Department at 828-632-1101 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
