According to Morganton Public Safety, as of approximately 2:25 a.m. today (June 4), firefighters were fighting a structure fire on South Sterling Street at the Mobile Home Supply Store. The road was to be closed from Drexel Road to Steakhouse Road during the firefighting operation. Public Safety will provide updates later this morning.
