STONY POINT, N.C. (WACB) – A drug arrest was made early Sunday (October 4) by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies charged 57-year-old Susan Carol Montgomery of Springfield Drive in Stony Point, with felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine, and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substance Montgomery is also charged with possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrest documentation revels that 14 grams of methamphetamine was seized. Montgomery was being held without bond in the Alexander County Jail due to pending charges. Drug trafficking charges from 2024 and 2025 await trial. An Iredell County conviction in 2024 for felony possession of meth resulted in a suspended sentence and probation.
