NEWTON, N.C. (WHKY) — A weeklong downtown dining promotion is raising money for the Newton Farmers Market through Tuesday, October 6. Downtown Newton Restaurant Week began September 29 and directs 15 percent of sales from featured items to the market, according to the organizer’s event listing.

Participating restaurants listed by the Newton Farmers Market are 3 Little Birds, B-52’s, Backstreets, Batán, Chilango’s, Discretion Underground, Morning Glory and Warehouse Distillery. Featured market vendors include Daphine & Sons, Davis & Sons Orchard, House of Eggroll & Pho, Iya Terra and Red Bird Cake Studio.
