Denver Man Accused of Robbing Cook Out Restaurant Wednesday
23-year-old Christian Alexander Foster of Denver, N.C. has been arrested on a charge of common law robbery and was also served with outstanding warrants out of Mecklenburg County. He was arrested in connection with the November 8 robbery of the Cook Out restaurant in Denver.
At about 11:30 last night, a man dressed in all black clothing and wearing a mask entered the back door of the restaurant. The man said it was a robbery and removed cash and the cash drawer from one of the business’ cash registers. He then fled the restaurant into a nearby wooded area.
Lincoln County Deputies, a L.C.S.O. K-9 unit, and Detectives were dispatched to the scene and began searching the area. Officers found a suspicious individual at the Quick Trip store on Highway 73 and questioned him concerning the robbery. The man, Christian Alexander Foster, was then taken into custody on the warrants from Mecklenburg County. A search of his vehicle revealed items that tied him to the Cook Out restaurant robbery.
Foster was charged accordingly and placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $15,500 secured bond. No court dates are currently listed.
