Due to the possibility of falling temperatures and the potential for black ice in the morning, and out of an abundance of caution, Catawba County Schools, the Hickory Public Schools and the Burke County Schools will all operate on a two-Hour Delay for all students, staff, and QUEST today (February 13). The Alexander County Schools are on a three-hour delay.

In Caldwell County, there will be a two-hour delay for Staff, CASA & Early College High School. WrapAround is on a two-hour delay, opening at 8 a.m. All other students are on an optional planning day with no school for students.
