CVCC To Present Seminar On How To Effectively Use LinkedIn

The Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) Small Business Center presents free seminar “Using LinkedIn as a Business Tool” at The Hickory Hub on Tuesday, September 12 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

During this in-person program, best practices for building a Professional LinkedIn Profile and the tactics you can use when Engaging and Sharing content on LinkedIn that can build your Professional Brand will be discussed. You will leave this session with tips on defining your target audience and the words you should be using in your LinkedIn Profile that resonate with them.

Presenters will show you the unique Profile sections you should consider using, and tips on the best use of these sections. You will also take away best practices, tips, and tricks for sharing content on LinkedIn and most importantly how to get into real conversations on LinkedIn which can have a big impact on the number of LinkedIn Profile views you receive each week.

The goal of this session is to give you actionable ideas you can immediately begin using to create real value using LinkedIn as a Business Tool. This session will be led by Teddy Burriss, a professional teacher of LinkedIn as a Business Tool for more than 13 years.
