The Catawba Valley Community College athletic program announces a change in leadership in the men’s basketball program.

Bryan Garmroth, who served as Red Hawk men’s basketball head coach, will be replaced by current assistant coach Shawn Johnson. Garmroth had coached CVCC for 12 seasons, compiling a record of 211-150 in that time.

Johnson will serve as the interim head coach for the Red Hawk men’s basketball program in the upcoming season.
