35-year-old Ruby Christine Hoard of Center Street in Cornelius has been arrested by Hickory Police on a charge of possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance. She was also charged with failure to appear on charges of breaking & entering a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and conspiracy to commit felony larceny.

Hoard was jailed today (October 6) in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $71,000 bond. She’ll appear in Superior Court on October 11 and in District Court on October 25 in Newton.
