North Carolina Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be working on Interstate 40 West over Lyle Creek in Catawba County this week, weather permitting.

One lane will be closed near mile marker 136 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight (March 13) through Thursday night (March 15) so bridge maintenance crews can safely patch potholes in the vicinity.

Drivers are reminded to use caution and remain alert approaching work zones.
