51-year-old Regina Vess Nelson of Terry Street in Conover has been arrested by Newton Police on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possesssion of drug paraphernalia. Nelson was jailed today (October 9) in the Catawba County Detention Facility. She was given a $2,500 bond. A first appearance in District Court is coming up tomorrow in Newton.
