HICKORY, N.C. (WHKY) – 27-year-old Tara Nicole Ramseur of White Tail Circle in Conover was arrested by Hickory Police Officers. She’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Probation and Parole also filed a count of felony probation violation.

Ramseur is on probation as a result of a conviction in April, 2026 in Catawba County for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. She received 18 months probation and a suspended sentence. Following the Monday (August 31) arrest, Ramseur was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $7,000 bond. A Tuesday (September 1) District Court date was scheduled. A Superior Court appearance is slated for November 19.
