33-year-old Jeffery Shane Edward Bales, whose address was not listed, was arrested Wednesday (April 27) by Conover Police Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of financial card theft, possession of a stolen vehicle and stolen firearm, break or enter a motor vehicle, and larceny of a firearm. Bales is also charged with misdemeanor counts of financial card fraud, resisting a public officer, possession of stolen goods, and larceny. He’s also charged with two misdemeanor counts of probation violation.

Bales was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $43,000 bond. District Court dates are scheduled for April 27, April 29, May 6, and May 11.
