34-year-old Roy Lee Blue, Jr. of 6th Street SW in Conover was arrested Wednesday (April 5) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with two counts apiece of trafficking in methamphetamine and trafficking, opium or heroin. Blue is additionally charged with maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and failure to heed light or siren.

Blue was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $400,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (April 6).
