21-year-old Enrique Navarro Pena of Swinging Bridge Road in Conover was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged on a bill of indictment with assault with physical injury on emergency personnel. Pena was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (December 15) under $12,000 bond. A Superior Court date is set for January 3.
