41-year-old Victor Eugene Leatherman of N.C. 16 in Conover was arrested Friday (February 3) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place to keep controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, trafficking, opium or heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and two counts of simple possession of schedule III controlled substance.

Leatherman was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $100,000 bond. He remained in jail as of earlier today (February 6). A District Court date was scheduled today.
