38-year-old Samuel Wade Lawrence of 32nd Street SE in Conover was arrested today (April 3) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with breaking & entering with intent to terrorize or injure, first-degree kidnapping, assault on a female, interfere with emergency communication, injury to real property, domestic violence protection order violation, and resisting a public officer. Lawrence was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
