CONOVER, N.C. (WHKY) – 50-year-old Johnny Mac Carson of August Street in Conover was arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with two felony counts of breaking and/or entering. The charges are in connection to a break-in reported on July 7 at a residence on Highway 16 North. Following the Monday (August 24) arrest, Carson was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $10,000 bond. A Monday District Court date was scheduled.
