31-year-old Joseph Ashley Bryant of 13th Avenue SE in Conover was arrested today (March 15) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with first-degree burglary. Bryant was previously arrested last Wednesday (March 8) by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and charged with drug offenses including possession of cocaine. Following today’s arrest, Bryant was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $10,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
