35-year-old Priscilla Dawn Moody of Rhodhiss Road in Connelly Springs was arrested by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. She was charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance (heroin).
According to information released Wednesday (September 9), on August 23, 2020, a Burke County Sheriff’s Office deputy was traveling on Enola Road when he saw a PT Cruiser exceeding the speed limit. The officer conducted a traffic stop. The passenger, Priscilla Dawn Moody, appeared to be attempting to hide something as the deputy approached the car.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and heroin was reportedly found. Moody was placed under arrest and placed in the Burke County Jail under $10,000 Secured bond. She is no longer listed as an inmate in Burke County, a District Court appearance is scheduled for next Monday (September 14).
