Connelly Springs Woman Charged with Felony Hit & Run [PHOTO ADDED 03:35 p.m.]
29-year-old Victoria Analee Kimmer of Connelly Springs has been arrested in connection with a hit & run accident Saturday (July 22) in Burke County. She was charged with felony hit & run.
The accident occurred shortly before seven o’clock Saturday morning on Airport Rhodhiss Road. A cyclist, Jerry Crump of Granite Falls, was riding with another Granite Falls man when he was hit from behind. Mr. Crump was airlifted to a Charlotte hospital with injuries that were described as, “serious.” The other cyclist was not injured. Both men were wearing brightly colored clothing with lights on the front and back of their bikes.
Kimmer was arrested yesterday (July 23) by Officers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. A 2018 Ford Focus was located at her residence and secured by the Highway Patrol. Bond for Kimmer was set at $10,000. She is not currently listed as an inmate in Burke County and no court date is listed.
