Connelly Springs Man Served with Fugitive Warrant from S.C.

36-year-old Brandon Stuart Sweitzer of Berea Church Road in Connelly Springs was served a felony fugitive warrant by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers last Friday (June 17). The suspect is wanted by the Sheriff’s Office in Anderson County, South Carolina for failure to appear on a grand larceny charge. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office previously arrested Sweitzer on June 14 for failure to appear on charges of driving while license permanently revoked, no liability insurance, driving or allowing a motor vehicle to be driven with no registration, and fictitious or altered title, registration card, or tag.

Sweitzer remains in the Catawba County Detention Facility where he is being held without bond on the fugitive warrant. Bond on the Catawba County charges was set at $1,000. He was scheduled to appear in District Court on the fugitive warrant today (June 21) in Newton with another court date on the local charges coming up on June 28.
