29-year-old Shawn Forrest Thornburg of Berry Road in Connelly Springs was arrested Wednesday (April 6) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with failure to appear on counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Thornburg was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $50,000 bond. A Superior Court appearance is scheduled for May 9.
