Connelly Springs Man Arrested on Felony Warrant after Attempting to Flee from Police

28-year-old Ricky Jared Gragg of Thoreau Court in Connelly Springs was arrested by Hickory Police at 9:10 last night (November 11) on a felony warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to stop for a siren, and resisting, delaying, or obstructing a public officer.

He was arrested as Officers initiated a traffic stop on the 2,800 block of 2nd Avenue N.W. in Hickory. The vehicle did not stop until the 300 block of Hickory Airport Road, where the driver attempted to flee on foot. Gragg was taken into custody without further incident.

He was jailed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility under a $3,000 secured bond. Appearances in District Court were set for November 16 & 23.
