33-year-old Terri Michelle Pitts of Claremont was arrested Friday (March 3) by authorities in Alexander County. She’s charged with felony probation violation.

Pitts is on probation as a result of convictions in February, 2022 in Alexander County for felony counts of sale & delivery of schedule III controlled substance, conspiracy to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance, and obtaining property by false pretense. She received three months jail time, probation, and a 36 month suspended sentence.

Following Friday’s arrest, Pitts was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond. A Superior Court date is scheduled for April 24.
