44-year-old Jamario Emontie Allread of Rest Home Road in Claremont was arrested Sunday (July 9) by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with assault by strangulation, felony possession of cocaine, assault on a female, assault on a government official or employee, resisting a public officer, and second-degree trespass. Allread was detained in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $17,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (July 10).
