CLAREMONT, N.C. (WHKY) – A 29-year-old man is facing a felony arson charge in Catawba County. According Catawba County jail records, Clayton Mckinley Ward of Evening Drive in Claremont was charged with second-degree arson in a case filed by the Claremont Police Department.

Ward is charged with burning a building on J & R Queen Road in Catawba on September 6. Ward had a Monday (September 28) court date scheduled.
