42-year-old Paula Renee Martin of Charlotte was arrested Sunday (December 11) on charges filed by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and Hickory Police Department. The Sheriff’s Office charged Martin with possession of controlled substance on prison or jail premises and Hickory Police charged her with driving while license revoked, expired registration card or tag, and operating a vehicle with no insurance. Martin was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $3,500 bond. District Court dates were scheduled today (December 12) and January 9.
