27-year-old Tommy Debre’ McCray, Jr. of Hunting Ridge Lane in Charlotte has been served with a felony warrant as a fugitive awaiting extradition to another state. He is wanted by the Rock Hill Police Department in South Carolina for shoplifting with a third property crime enhancement.

McCray has been in the Catawba County Detention Facility since February 17 on larceny charges, two felony counts and one misdemeanor count. According to police reports, McCray has shown violent tendencies and is known to carry weapons and to resist officers. He is being held under a $40,000 secured bond on the fugitive warrant with a District Court appearance scheduled today (April 21) in Newton. No bond or court dates are listed on the larceny charges.
