52-year-old Mark Robert Eury of Oxford School Road in Catawba was arrested Sunday (March 12) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Eury was convicted in Catawba County of felony attempted trafficking schedule II controlled substance in April, 2021. He received probation and a suspended sentence.

Following today’s arrest, Eury was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled for today.
