39-year-old Curtis Eugene Cook of 3rd Street SW in Catawba was arrested Friday (May 15) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises and driving while impaired. Cook (pictured) was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $4,000 bond. A Monday (May 18) District Court date was scheduled.
