Catawba Man Charged After Drugs, Guns Seized Following Search

32-year-old Dimario Juwaughn Coulter of Catawba was arrested Tuesday (February 20) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for the purposes of selling controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Tuesday, investigators with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence on Edna Street in Catawba. During that search investigators found and seized 3.6 grams of crack cocaine, three rifles, United States Currency and drug paraphernalia.

Coulter was arrested and charged. He received a $5,000 secured bond and had a first appearance in Catawba County District Court on Wednesday (February 21). His next District Court date is March 12. Coulter was not listed as an inmate in Catawba County as of earlier today (February 22). Narcotics Investigators with the Hickory and Maiden Police Departments assisted in this investigation.
