Catawba County Justice Center Reopens Today Following Friday Closure

The North Carolina Judicial Branch reports that the Catawba County Justice Center will resume business as usual today (October 5). The facility was closed last Friday (October 2) due to COVID-19 exposure. Judge Nathaniel Poovey’s Administrative Order directs Justice Center visitors to proceed with caution and wear masks. All staff tested through contact tracing are reported by Clerk Sigmon to have negative results, and the Justice Center has been thoroughly cleaned.
