40-year-old Maurice Lavone Chambers of Parker Court in Lenoir was arrested Wednesday (September 13) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule II controlled substance along with a misdemeanor count of failure to appear. Chambers was released on $1,000 secured bond. A Superior Court date is scheduled for October 30.
