37-year-old Derek Lee Ritchie of Tumbleweed Drive in Lenoir was arrested Monday (March 22) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged on a felony fugitive warrant from another state. Ritchie is wanted in Virginia on unspecified charges. Following the arrest, Ritchie was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center without bond. A District Court appearance is scheduled Wednesday (March 24).
