LENOIR, N.C. (WHKY) — Residents will have three opportunities to learn hands-only CPR at local emergency medical services bases in October.

Caldwell County EMS will offer the drop-in instruction on three consecutive Mondays as part of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Month.

Each session runs from 4 to 7 p.m., and residents may stop by anytime during those hours, according to the county’s announcement.

The first session is Monday, October 5, at the Cajah’s Mountain base, 1901 Connelly Springs Road in Lenoir.

The second session is Monday, October 12, at the Grace Chapel base, 4470 Grace Chapel Road in Granite Falls.

The final scheduled session is Monday, October 19, at the Lower Creek base, 201 Taylorsville Road SE in Lenoir.
