Caldwell Community College Volleyball Sweeps Home Match

Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute’ volleyball team made quick work of visiting USC-Union Thursday, winning in straight sets 3-0 to pick up their ninth win in a row.

Caldwell never trailed in sets one and three and only briefly trailed USC-Union 1-0 in set two as the Cobras won in straight sets for the seventh time this season.

Laney Craig led Caldwell with 24 total attacks and seven kills. Her teammates Greenleigh Gleason and Catherine Pate each totaled five kills. Defensively for the Cobras, Emily Ramirez had 11 digs while Leah Pimental had four block assists and two solo blocks.

Caldwell (11-2) travels Saturday to a tri-match at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. The Cobras will face the host Wildcats at 12PM before taking on Lenoir Community College at 2PM.
