Caldwell Community College Volleyball Falls in Five Sets

Caldwell Community College volleyball fell on the road at Guilford Tech, 3-2 Thursday night. However, the Cobras played their first road game since 2008, won their first set in that time frame and had their first five game match.

Catherine Pate led the Cobras with 16 kills. Anna McNeely added seven kills and Emma Grace Hiatt had six. Hiatt also had 19 assists to lead Caldwell. McNeely and Sydney Ferguson each had four aces. Defensively, Carissa Potter and Ferguson each had 16 digs while Hiatt added 11.

The loss drops the Cobras to 0-2 on the early season. They will be back in action Tuesday at Louisburg College.
