Caldwell Community College Baseball Wins in 11 Innings

Caldwell Community College baseball outlasted the Ferrum College JV squad, 11-9 in 11 innings yesterday at home.

Bo Davidson hit a two RBI homerun in the bottom of the eleventh inning to lead Caldwell to an 11-9 victory over Ferrum College JV.

Ben Elkins pitched three scoreless innings in relief to earn the victory for the Cobras. He benefited from catcher Jacob Bebber throwing out three Ferrum runners who were attempting to steal second base; one each in the ninth, tenth, and eleventh innings.

The Cobras are 33-3 on the season. Caldwell will travel to Spartanburg Methodist for a nine-inning game on Wednesday.
