Caldwell’s baseball and softball teams are both ranked number one in the latest NJCAA Division Three rankings, released Monday, April 24.

The baseball team, 33-3 overall, is ranked number one for the fourth week in row. The Cobras picked up wins last week over Catawba Valley and Ferrum College JV. They will travel to Spartanburg Methodist this Wednesday before wrapping up the regular season with a three-game series versus Virginia Peninsula this weekend.

The softball team, 24-16 overall, is ranked number one for the first time in program history. The Cobras swept top-ten opponents Surry and Patrick & Henry over the weekend. They will travel to Paul D. Camp for a doubleheader on Friday before finishing the regular season on Saturday with a doubleheader at Patrick & Henry.
