Business Break-in Under Investigation, Suspect Sought
Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a break-in and larceny at a Denver, N.C. business. Last Saturday (March 4) deputies were dispatched to Denver Construction Company on N.C. 16 Business North in reference to someone cutting through a chain link fence and entering the business. A detective reported the individual then began going through the work beds of company trucks and stealing tools and equipment.
The person left storage doors open on the trucks where impact wrenches, batteries, ratchets, sockets, a gas can and other equipment valued at approximately $1,800 were taken. The suspect appears to be a white male wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans with brown or black hair. The suspect looks to have a black or brown beard and mustache.
