MORGANTON, N.C. (WHKY) – A McDowell County woman is facing a felony charge after her arrest by the Burke County Sheriff’s Office. 43-year-old Jessica Dianne Dalton of Old Fort was booked into the Burke County Jail late Tuesday night, July 28. Dalton is charged with injury to wires and other fixtures of telephone, telegraph, or electric power systems.

She was given a $30,000 surety bond and was scheduled to make a Thursday (July 30) court appearance. No additional details about the incident have been released.
