A man who had been on the Burke County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted List for just one day was taken into custody.

According to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Jimmy Frank Peeler of Connelly Springs turned himself in at the Burke County Magistrate’s Office on June 30.

Deputies served Peeler with warrants for Failure to Appear on a felony charge of fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, along with two felony probation violation warrants.

Peeler (pictured) had been added to the Burke County Most Wanted List on June 29. His bond had previously been set at $100,000 secured. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 27.
