A Morganton man is facing multiple charges after an arrest by the Hickory Police Department.

According to arrest records, 53-year-old Jamie Thomas Hartley was arrested Monday (May 25) and charged with possession of fentanyl and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Hartley, who lists an address on Harbison Lane in Morganton, was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $10,000 secured bond.

He was scheduled to appear in Newton District Court Tuesday (May 26) for the fentanyl charge. A separate court date for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge is set for June 15.
