A Burke County man is being sought by authorities and has been added to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted list.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 40-year-old Jason Robert Hill, whose last known address was on Brandon Road in Morganton, currently has outstanding warrants and has not been located by law enforcement.

Hill (pictured) is wanted for failure to appear on charges including felony larceny, possession of stolen goods or property, two counts of larceny of chose in action, obtaining property by false pretense, three counts of forgery of an instrument, and two counts of uttering a forged endorsement.

The Burke County Sheriff’s Office posted Hill to its Most Wanted list on June 29. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Burke County Sheriff’s Office at 828-438-5500or by email at burkesheriff@burkenc.org.
